Binary phase hopping based spreading code authentication technique

چکیده

Abstract Civil receivers of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) are vulnerable to spoofing and jamming attacks due their signal structures. The Spreading Code Authentication (SCA) technique is one the GNSS message encryption identity authentication techniques. Its robustness complexity in between Message (NMA) Encryption (NME)/Spreading (SCE). A commonly used spreading code inserts unpredictable chips into public code. This method changes structure, degrades correlation code, causes performance loss. paper proposes a binary phase hopping based technique, which can achieve without changing existing structure. Analysis shows that this reduce loss original has good compatibility with receiver architecture.

Code Based Hashing Technique for Message Authentication Algorithms

In Cryptography, hash functions play a fundamental role in mapping messages into hash codes, where hash codes are served as compact representative of input messages. The hash function is a many-to-one function. Same hash function can be generated from different input messages, implying that the existence of collisions. Cryptographic hash functions are used for data integrity in conjunction with...

Subband Spreading Technique Using Orthogonal Code Multiplexing in OFDM Systems

We propose a subband spreading technique to average a frequency selective fading channel which produces different signal-to-noise ratios (SNR) per subcarrier in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems. Data symbols are spread over a subband using orthogonal codes and transmitted. Each subband is composed of a group of subcarriers. Received symbols in a subband have the same re...

Binary code-based Human Detection

HOG features are effective for object detection, but their focus on local regions makes them highdimensional features. To reduce the memory required for the HOG features, this paper proposes a new feature, R-HOG, which creates binary codes from the HOG features extracted from two local regions. This approach enables the created binary codes to reflect the relationships between local regions. Co...

Hybrid wavelength hopping/time spreading code division multilple access systems - Optoelectronics, IEE Proceedings-

The capacity of local area networks (LAN) can be increased substantially by amalgamating different access techniques. Wavelength division multiplexing (WDILI) arid code division multiple access (CDMA) can both offer an asynchronous mode of communication and can be integrated into a hybrid system. Here, the characteristics of one particular approach to achieving a hybrid system, analogous to hyb...

A Design of a Wavelength-hopping Time-spreading Incoherent Optical Code Division Multiple Access System

We present the architecture and code design for a highly scalable, 2.5 Gb/s per user optical code division multiple access (OCDMA) system. The system is scalable to 100 potential and more than 10 simultaneous users, each with a bit error rate (BER) of less than 10. The system architecture uses a fast wavelength-hopping, time-spreading codes. Unlike frequency and phase sensitive coherent OCDMA s...
